    Matcha Strawberries

    Impress your guests with these Matcha Strawberries! They're a fun twist on a classic recipe! These juicy strawberries are coated in a delicious mixture of dairy free white chocolate and matcha powder. The definition of healthy and delicious!

    🍴Ingredient Notes

    All ingredients measured out in bowls.
    • Organic Strawberries - Any fresh strawberries will work with this recipe. I like to purchase Organic because they're on the Dirty Dozen List.
    • Dairy Free White Chocolate - My favorite brands are Pascha and Evolved Chocolate.
    • Matcha Powder - Any Matcha Powder will work!

    🍴Step by Step Instructions

    Step 1: Matcha Chocolate

    1. Melt white chocolate in 20 second increments in the microwave. Stir each time you heat the chocolate. Repeat until it's smooth and creamy.
    2. Next, add in the matcha powder. Mix until fully combined.

    Step 2: Dipping Strawberries

    1. While the chocolate cools, rinse and pat dry the strawberries. (They must be completely dry for the chocolate to stick!)
    2. Dip each strawberry into the chocolate mixture and lay on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Repeat until all strawberries are coated.
    3. Store in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve!

    Expert Tips

    • Make sure you dry the strawberries before dipping. If they're still wet, the chocolate will not stick.
    • Let the chocolate cool for a few minutes before dipping the strawberries.
    • Use the stem to hold the strawberry while dipping.
    • Don't dip the chocolate all the way to the top for a beautiful color contrast.
    • Place the strawberries on a parchment paper lined baking sheet for easy transfer into the refrigerator. (This will also prevent sticking.)
    • Add an extra chocolate drizzle and sprinkles! (I used the brand 365 from Whole Foods.)

    How to store leftovers

    Store leftover strawberries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Make sure they're completely cooled before removing from parchment paper to transfer onto a container.
