    🍴Ingredient Notes

Overhead shot of savory stuffed date ingredients.
    • Medjool Dates - Make sure you remove the pit!
    • Bacon - Cut strips in half or thirds. I used Applegate no sugar added bacon, but any bacon will work! Butcher Box also makes high quality bacon.
    • Jalapeño Peppers - Cut into bite size strips. Make sure you remove the seeds!

    🍴Step by Step Instructions

    Step 1: Prepare Ingredients

Start by removing the pit from the dates. Next, cut each slice of bacon in half and set aside. Finally, cut jalapeño peppers into small thin strips.

To assemble, add a strip of jalapeño inside each date, and wrap the date with a strip of bacon. Use a toothpick to secure. Repeat!

    Expert Tips

    • Stick the toothpick straight through the date to secure the bacon!
    • If you like less bacon, cut the strips into thirds. If you like more bacon, cut the strips in half.
    • For a less sweet option, only use half of a date.
    • Top with freshly chopped parsley, and flaky sea salt.
    • Re-heat the dates in the air fryer for extra crispy bacon!
    • Place the cooked dates on a paper towel lined plate so absorb any excess oil.
    • If you like an extra kick of spice use two strips of jalapeño in each date.
    • Best served fresh out of the oven! Do not bake or air fry until you're ready to serve.
