    Why You'll Love This Recipe

This simple mango smoothie would be a great addition to your summer smoothie rotation! Smoothies are a healthy, delicious, and easy way to get in plenty of protein! Plus, they're great for busy mornings.

    • Made with only 4 ingredients.
    • It tastes like a tropical dream!
    • This orange smoothie has about 20 grams of protein per serving!
    • There is no added sugar - it's naturally sweetened with whole fruit.
    • It's a delicious dairy-free smoothie recipe.
    • Takes less than 10 minutes to make.
    • Easy to customize for dietary restrictions.
    • It has a thick & creamy texture.
    • Enjoy this healthy mango smoothie recipe as a quick breakfast, after-dinner treat, or post-workout snack.

    🍴Ingredient Notes

Ingredients measured out for mango protein shake.
    • Frozen Mango Chunks - You can peel and freeze fresh mango or purchase frozen mango from the store. (I get my frozen mango from Costco!) If you use fresh mango, make sure it's soft and ripe!
    • Ripe Banana - The banana does not need to be frozen, but frozen banana will make it even thicker!
    • Coconut Milk - You can swap for coconut water, almond milk, oat milk, cashew milk, or any non-dairy milk.
    • Vanilla Protein Powder - My favorite Paleo friendly protein brands are Amy Myers Vanilla Protein Powder and Ancient Nutrition Vanilla Bone Broth Protein Powder. You can also use two scoops of vanilla collagen powder.

    Recipe Variations

    • Add in two tablespoons of pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, almond butter, sunflower butter, or shredded coconut for some healthy fats!
    • For a tropical twist, add about ¼ cup of fresh or frozen pineapple.
    • If you can tolerate dairy products try adding in ¼ cup of plain Greek yogurt or cottage cheese to add a little more protein! You could also use vanilla coconut yogurt.
    • Swap the coconut milk for orange juice to switch up the flavor!
    • For a richer coconut flavor, you can use a little full-fat coconut milk from the can.
    • To make a vegan smoothie, swap the vanilla protein powder for a plant-based option.

    • If your smoothie is too thin, try adding in some ice cubes.
    • For a thinner smoothie, add a little extra water or dairy-free milk.
    • Freeze leftover smoothie in silicone ice cube trays to use for later!

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can you make this mango smoothie into popsicles?

Yes! Just pour the smoothie into your favorite popsicle molds and freeze! For a more tropical flavor, stir in some finely shredded coconut.

How do I make this smoothie into a smoothie bowl?

Use less milk and only frozen fruit! Blend on a low setting until it's a smooth, thick consistency.

    How to store leftovers

Store leftovers in a glass cup with a lid like a mason jar in the refrigerator or freezer. (It will not stay as thick in the refrigerator.)

You can also make smoothie ice cubes by pouring leftovers into a silicone ice cube tray and freeze for later! (Or meal prep by doubling the recipe!)

Blend the frozen cubes with a non-dairy milk for a quick and easy smoothie.
