Expert Tips
Speaking from experience, it's much easier to prepare the salmon when you buy it without the skin. You can remove the skin yourself, but you'll need a sharp knife and patience.
Use a paper towel to pat dry the salmon before marinating.
Marinate the salmon the night before or the morning of to achieve maximum flavor!
Do not overcook the salmon or it will dry out! It does not take long to cook salmon when it's cut into small cubes.
Make sure you cut the salmon bites into similar size bites so they cook evenly in the air fryer.
If you use a baking tray, line it with parchment paper to keep the salmon from sticking. If you use a basket style air fryer, spray with a nonstick oil like avocado oil or coconut oil.
