Ingredients

  • 3 Filets of Salmon, cut into cubes.
  • ½ Cup Primal Kitchen Teriyaki Sauce I used their thick n sticky honey teriyaki sauce.
  • 4 Cups Steamed Broccoli Florets
  • 4 Cups Cooked Basmati Rice Use whatever rice you prefer!

Garnish

  • Sesame Seeds
  • Green Onion, Thinly Sliced

Instructions

  • Start by cutting the skinless salmon filets into 2-inch pieces. Add to a large bowl with the teriyaki sauce and stir until they're completely coated in the sauce.
  • Add the marinated salmon onto a parchment paper lined tray or directly into a greased air fryer. Air fry at 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes.
  • To steam the broccoli, add broccoli florets into a saucepan with about 1 inch of water. Cover the pot and let simmer until broccoli is fork tender.
  • Assemble the bowls by adding rice, steamed broccoli, air fried salmon bites, and top with an extra drizzle of teriyaki sauce. For garnish add sesame seeds and thinly sliced green onion!

Notes

Expert Tips

  • Speaking from experience, it's much easier to prepare the salmon when you buy it without the skin. You can remove the skin yourself, but you'll need a sharp knife and patience.
  • Use a paper towel to pat dry the salmon before marinating.
  • Marinate the salmon the night before or the morning of to achieve maximum flavor!
  • Do not overcook the salmon or it will dry out! It does not take long to cook salmon when it's cut into small cubes.
  • Make sure you cut the salmon bites into similar size bites so they cook evenly in the air fryer.
  • If you use a baking tray, line it with parchment paper to keep the salmon from sticking. If you use a basket style air fryer, spray with a nonstick oil like avocado oil or coconut oil.

How to Store Leftovers

Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
