This Dairy-Free Chocolate Avocado Protein Shake is super thick and creamy! It tastes like soft serve ice cream, but it's made with nourishing ingredients that will keep you full and satisfied for hours.

  • 1 High Speed Blender
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Cold Filtered Water
  • 1 Cup Frozen Ripe Bananas
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder You can also use chocolate protein powder.
  • 2 Tablespoons Ripe Avocado
  • 2 Tablespoons Cacao Powder
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
  • 1 Tablespoon Pumpkin Seeds

Instructions
 

  • Start by adding all ingredients into a high-speed blender. Cover securely and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into a chilled glass cup and enjoy!

Notes

Expert Tips

  • If you don't like thick smoothies, add a little extra water or dairy-free milk.
  • The riper bananas you use, the sweeter the smoothie will be. If you use green bananas, you'll lower the sugar content and add more dietary fiber.
  • Freeze leftover smoothie in silicone ice cube trays to use for later!
  • Use a high-speed blender for this recipe. If you only have a food processor on hand, you can use that too!
  • For best results, use a fresh avocado that is soft when you give it a gentle squeeze. If it's hard, it will not be ripe enough to use.
