1 Small Sauce Pan
- 10 Pitted Medjool Dates
- 1 Cup Boiling Filtered Water
- 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
- ½ Teaspoon Salt
Start by removing the pit from each date. Place the pitted dates in a small bowl and pour over the boiling water. Let soak for 10 minutes.
Then add the soaked dates and the water into a high-speed blender. Blend on low until it's a creamy paste.
Transfer the date mixture into a small saucepan with maple syrup and salt. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally with a whisk.
Finally, transfer the date caramel to a small bowl and refrigerate until you're ready to serve!
Caramel Tips:
- After the dates have soaked, you will add the dates & the water into the blender.
- Make sure to remove the pits from you dates before soaking them!
