Healthy Date Caramel Apple Dip (Dairy-Free!)

Equipment

  • 1 High Speed Blender
  • 1 Small Sauce Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Pitted Medjool Dates
  • 1 Cup Boiling Filtered Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt

Instructions
 

  • Start by removing the pit from each date. Place the pitted dates in a small bowl and pour over the boiling water. Let soak for 10 minutes.
  • Then add the soaked dates and the water into a high-speed blender. Blend on low until it's a creamy paste.
  • Transfer the date mixture into a small saucepan with maple syrup and salt. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally with a whisk.
  • Finally, transfer the date caramel to a small bowl and refrigerate until you're ready to serve!

Notes

Caramel Tips: 
  1. After the dates have soaked, you will add the dates & the water into the blender. 
  2. Make sure to remove the pits from you dates before soaking them!
