Homemade Ginger Shots

Homemade Ginger Shots are a powerful drink that can be enjoyed in the morning or before each meal to support your digestive system and overall health! They're made with simple ingredients like ginger root, apple, apple cider vinegar, and filtered water.

Equipment

  • 1 Juicer I used the Breville Juice Fountain Plus Juicer.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Cups Ginger Root
  • 3 Cups Apple
  • 2 Cups Filtered Water
  • ½ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Start by juicing the ginger root and apples. (Make sure you remove the apple core.)
  • Next, stir in the water and apple cider vinegar.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. *Best served chilled!

How to Store Leftovers

Leftover ginger shots should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. (Mason jars work great!) You can also store them in small glass containers for easy grab and go individual servings.
They're best when served fresh and will store for up to a week in the refrigerator. I would recommend making a fresh batch each week.

Storage Tips

Another reusable container I like using for storage are the Santa Cruz Glass Jars! They're great for storing ginger shots. It's also a great way to use up leftover lemon juice - just add the ginger shots right into the jar!
