Expert Tips
I recommend using a high-speed blender for this recipe. I used my Vitamix Blender which is by far my favorite!
To achieve creamy results, use a smooth almond butter like the one from Woodstock or Artisana Organics. (I also pick organic when possible.)
After the milk has been sitting for a while, you'll need to give the jar a good shake before using.
How to Store Leftover Homemade Almond Milk
Leftover almond milk should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. I recommend storing in a large glass mason jar!Because this is fresh almond milk, it does not contain added ingredients to keep it fresh for long periods of time. This homemade milk has a shorter shelf life.To prevent waste, just pour leftovers into ice cube trays and freeze for smoothies!** See full post for more information and helpful tips!
