Orange Creamsicle Protein Shake Recipe (Dairy Free)
This Orange Creamsicle Protein Shake is quickly going to become one of your absolute favorites! It has a light, creamy texture, and it's made with whole peeled oranges. Best of all, you only need three simple ingredients!
1CupCoconut Milk, ChilledAny non-dairy milk will work!
1ScoopVanilla Protein PowderYou can also use two scoops of vanilla collagen powder.
Instructions
Start by peeling the oranges with a sharp knife. Cut the orange into small cubes and add one and a half onto a parchment paper lined sheet. (Save the other half!)
Freeze the orange pieces for 2-3 hours.
Add the frozen orange, fresh orange, protein powder, and coconut milk into a blender.
Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy!

Expert Tips
If your smoothie is too thin, try adding in some ice.
If you don't like thick smoothies, add a little extra water or dairy-free milk.
Freeze leftover smoothie in silicone ice cube trays to use for later!
Use a high-speed blender for this recipe. If you only have a food processor on hand, you can use that too!

How To Store Leftovers
Store leftovers in a glass cup with a lid like a mason jar in the refrigerator or freezer. (It will not stay as thick in the refrigerator.)You can also make smoothie ice cubes by pouring leftovers into a silicone ice cube tray and freeze for later!
